Account Executive (Remote)
Location: Remote (Latin America)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM ET (40 hours/week)
Type: Full-time · Independent Contractor
About the Company
Our client is a US-based company that helps high-profile individuals and organizations manage and elevate their digital reputation. The business has scaled quickly on the strength of a lean, in-house team and a simple, predictable service model, and is now formalizing its client-facing operations to match that growth.
About the Role
You are the single point of contact for a portfolio of clients after a deal closes. When sales hands off a signed client and intake is complete, you confirm everything is in motion and delivery has kicked off. From there, you own every update, keeping clients informed as their project moves through delivery and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between sales and the delivery team, who do not speak with clients directly. This is a relationship and communications role, not a sales role. This role fits someone who thrives on building trust, staying organized across multiple relationships, and knowing when to escalate versus handle alone.
Who You Are
- You have excellent written English, clear and professional enough that clients never question who they are working with.
- You are highly responsive and organized, comfortable owning a full inbox of client relationships without letting anything slip.
- You can deliver both good news and difficult updates, including delays and pricing conversations, with tact and confidence.
- You have a sharp read on client tone, able to sense when a client is getting frustrated or anxious, and you know when to escalate to leadership rather than handle everything alone.
- You have experience working with US or enterprise-level clients, or a strong instinct for that kind of white-glove communication style.
- You are based in Latin America and available to work Eastern Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned group of clients after deal close, owning all day-to-day communication by email.
- Reach out to clients at key moments across their engagement, confirming intake, sharing progress updates, providing next step instructions, and managing final handoff.
- Coordinate with the delivery team on timelines, delays, and completions, and translate that into clear, proactive updates for clients.
- Handle sensitive conversations, like delayed projects or anxious clients, with a calm, professional tone.
- Review sales call notes and delivery updates to identify natural opportunities for additional services, and flag or pursue them with clients.
- Work primarily out of Gmail and Google Sheets, used as the team's CRM, with occasional Slack for internal coordination.
- Maintain a high response standard on email, generally within one to two business days once ramped up, and often much faster.
Bonus Points
- Previous experience in account management, customer success, or client services for a US-based company.
- Experience working in a fully remote, asynchronous team.
- Exposure to consultative or soft upselling, spotting an opportunity and looping in the right person rather than hard selling.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days
- You have taken ownership of your client portfolio and built a reliable rhythm of communication with the delivery team.
- Clients feel like they have a real point of contact instead of silence between signing and delivery.
- You are comfortable navigating Gmail, Google Sheets, and Slack as your core tools.
Ongoing
- Clients trust you, escalations are rare and handled smoothly when they happen.
- You are consistently spotting and flagging real opportunities for additional services instead of letting them pass by.
- Your inbox is managed, your clients are informed, and nothing falls through the cracks.
