Why this role exists

Our client is a funded startup or PE-backed SMB that needs real finance horsepower without paying US salaries for it. They want models they can trust and judgment they can act on, not bookkeeping. Some weeks it is the budget and the forecast; others it is the board deck.

What you'll own

• Financial models, budgets and rolling forecasts the leadership team relies on
• Scenario and variance analysis, turned into clear, decision-ready recommendations
• Board and investor materials that are accurate and easy to read
• Partnership with leadership on pricing, spend and strategic finance calls
• AI and BI tools that speed analysis and tighten the monthly close and reporting cycle

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in FP&A or corporate finance
• Advanced financial modeling. Your work survives scrutiny
• You translate analysis into a recommendation a non-finance leader can act on
• Precise: you catch the error before it reaches the board
• English C1, written and spoken

Bonus

• MBA or CFA
• Startup or PE background
• Comfortable with BI tools and using AI to speed analysis

What success looks like

First 90 days

You own the model and the forecast, and leadership trusts the numbers. You have delivered at least one board or investor package and one piece of decision-ready analysis.

Ongoing

The leadership team makes calls off your work with confidence, your scope grows as the business scales, and you become the finance partner leadership turns to for strategic decisions.
