About the Company

Our client is an integrated architecture and engineering firm specializing in high-end US residential projects. Their multidisciplinary team includes licensed architects and engineers with 15+ years of experience across architecture, structural, civil, landscape, MEP, and interior design. They are rapidly growing and refining processes to deliver faster, more cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

About the Role

You will translate design concepts into accurate, standards-compliant Revit models that serve as the foundation for high-end US residential projects. You will own specific design portions within projects, make informed decisions when direction is not fully defined, and carry concepts forward with confidence. This role fits someone who thrives in real-time collaboration, takes ownership of design quality, and can work systematically in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, high-quality, and standards-compliant Revit models based on design intent, project requirements, and internal guidelines.

• Translate conceptual design input from senior designers and architects into detailed multidisciplinary Revit models across Architecture, Structure, and MEP.

• Take ownership of specific design portions within a project, making informed decisions when design direction is not fully defined.

• Support projects from early design phases through permit and construction documentation, ensuring consistency and buildability throughout.

• Participate in real-time design sessions, daily design jams, and client meetings to capture decisions and clarify requirements.

• Collaborate closely with licensed professionals and senior team members to refine design solutions and maintain project quality.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement and documentation of Revit standards, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

• Communicate proactively with the team regarding design challenges, coordination issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Who You Are

• You have 3–6 years of architectural design experience with strong exposure to project development and documentation, ideally in residential projects.

• You are advanced in Revit as your primary production tool, with strong multidisciplinary understanding across Architecture, Structure, and MEP.

• You speak fluent English with strong command of architectural and construction terminology, and can follow fast-paced technical and client-facing discussions in real time.

• You have solid understanding of US residential construction methods, particularly wood-framed construction, and can identify design conflicts and propose practical solutions proactively.

• You take ownership of design quality and accuracy, work efficiently in fast-paced environments, and respond quickly to tasks, revisions, and communication.

• You are proactive and team-oriented, comfortable working through ambiguity and evolving project requirements in a growth-stage operation.

Bonus Points

• Experience with US residential, single-family home, or hospitality projects.

• Familiarity with Bluebeam for markups.

• Experience with Slack and Google Drive.

• Experience working in distributed or remote team environments.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

• You have completed the 20-business-day trial period and demonstrated proficiency in translating design concepts into coordinated Revit models aligned with internal standards.

• You actively participate in daily all-team meetings and design jams, contributing to design decisions and capturing client requirements accurately.

• You have identified and communicated design challenges and coordination issues proactively, and contributed at least one improvement to Revit workflows or documentation.

Ongoing

• You consistently deliver permit-ready documentation that maintains consistency and buildability across Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines.

• You own specific design portions independently, make sound judgments on partially defined concepts, and carry them forward to completion with minimal rework.

• You contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement of Revit standards and SOPs, helping the team scale efficiently.
