Location: Remote (Philippines)

Compensation: $4,000 – $6,000 USD/month

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM PT Overlap (40 hours/week)

Our client is an AI-native staffing company building internal software that powers rapid growth and automation. They move quickly, automate aggressively, and build their own systems when existing tools aren't good enough. This is a lean, engineering-driven team that ships fast and values outcomes over process.

About the Role

You'll build the systems that help the company grow and operate at scale. Some weeks you're building signal-driven candidate sourcing and outreach systems. Other weeks you're automating onboarding, connecting APIs between internal tools, or rapidly launching new products. You'll own projects from idea through working product to real users and iteration. This role fits someone who is a real software engineer comfortable shipping production code and now uses AI coding tools to move extremely fast.

Key Responsibilities

• Build candidate sourcing, enrichment, scoring, and outreach systems that drive growth.
• Create signal-driven workflows that turn data into automated actions.
• Connect APIs, databases, LLMs, and internal tools into reliable systems.
• Automate onboarding and repetitive internal operations to eliminate manual work.
• Rapidly prototype and ship new products and experiments using modern development tools.
• Take ambiguous business problems and determine what to build without detailed specifications.
• Iterate on systems based on real user feedback and outcomes.

Who You Are

• You have 2+ years of software engineering experience building products used by real users.
• You are strong with Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, databases, and modern web development.
• You are highly effective with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
• You are comfortable working with LLM APIs, agents, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• You have strong product instincts, ship quickly, and care about outcomes over perfection.
• You communicate clearly in English and work independently with minimal supervision.

Bonus Points

• Experience building internal tools, growth systems, or recruiting technology.
• Experience with scraping, enrichment, outbound infrastructure, or agentic workflows.
• You have launched a product yourself or worked at an early-stage startup.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

• You have shipped multiple systems the team uses every day to improve their workflow.
• You have eliminated meaningful manual work through automation and integration.
• You have built at least one workflow or product that directly improves candidate acquisition, operations, or growth.

Ongoing

• You consistently ship new features and systems that the team relies on.
• You take ownership of projects from conception through production and iteration.
• You work effectively with AI coding tools to maintain high velocity without sacrificing quality.
