Sourcing Intern (Remote)

You keep the recruiter's pipeline full so they can spend their time talking to candidates instead of hunting for them. This role fits someone who wants to be measured on numbers.

Remote · Philippines, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Paraguay, Bolivia, Guatemala, Peru · $350 USD/month · Full-time · Independent Contractor

Why this role exists

Our client is a small recruiting company that places senior Latin American talent with companies in the United States. They are bootstrapped and profitable, with a team of around ten people. They move fast, use AI in almost every part of the process and expect everyone to take initiative.

What you'll own

  • Daily sourcing against the criteria the recruiter sets for each open search
  • Outreach across LinkedIn, job boards and our candidate database
  • A first pass on every candidate, so what reaches the recruiter is worth their time
  • Qualified candidates booked directly onto the recruiter's calendar
  • Feedback on candidates who did not make it, used to adjust your filter
  • A clean, current applicant tracking system, with no duplicates and no missing fields
  • Weekly targets on candidates sourced and interviews booked

Why this is interesting

  • AI is used in almost every part of the process
  • A clear scoreboard: you are measured on numbers
  • You get sharper every day from direct feedback on your candidates

What we're looking for

  • Prior experience in staffing or recruitment. This is not negotiable
  • You can tell a candidate who fits from one who only looks like they fit
  • Organized without being reminded. Nothing sits in your inbox for three days
  • You want to be measured on numbers and are fine with a scoreboard
  • English C1, written and spoken, working with a team in the Americas

Bonus

  • Sourcing in Latin America
  • An applicant tracking system such as Recruit CRM, Greenhouse or Lever
  • AI tools to speed up sourcing or screening
  • Recruiting for startups or small companies, where the bar is high and the process is short

What success looks like

First 90 days

By week 2 you are sourcing on live searches without needing the criteria explained twice. By week 4 you book qualified candidates onto the recruiter's calendar consistently, and most survive the interview. By week 8 the cancellation rate on your bookings has dropped because your filter matches hers, and by week 12 her calendar is full and she spends her time interviewing, not searching.

Ongoing

You hit your weekly sourcing and booking targets. The candidates you send convert into interviews at a rate we can plan around, and the database stays clean enough that anyone on the team can work from it.
